Flowers and Leaf

 

 

 

 Today for steam me and my classmates were learning about the outsides and insides for leafs and flowers.Did you know that there is an female flower ad an male flower is that just so shocking.I got to learn lots of amazing things about flowers and leafs i didn't even know till this day.We learnt leafs they have two different shades but same colour so if get an leaf you can tell that one side is lighter and the other that is because the sun light only shines on one side of the leaf and not the other and that is a little bit of what i know about leafs now let's talk about flowers.Did you know that The largest flower in the world can be up to ten feet tall and three feet wide, and it can weigh up to 24 pounds !!! that is just so crazy thank you for reading what i learnt and feel free to leave a positive feedback.

Online meeting

This morning on Friday the  3 of September 2021 i joined  my online meeting at 9:00 am. I was waiting hearing the teachers say hello to all of the students that joins one after another. Suddenly i look throw all of the teachers and Mr Moran asks me if i can do the Karakia and if you don't know what it means it is basically the word  pray but in Maori.So then i sure has i was doing the Karakia i was feeling so nervous because i know that all eyes will be on me but not all eyes on me because we will be praying i don't know i think i am just being over dramatic.Anyways after i finished a girl did her Mihi but i'am not going to taking  that much about it is really just like a welcoming speech.

Persuasive Writing/Kids get paid to go to to school-I disagree

Kids get paid to go to to school-I disagree

 I feel that you should not pay for your children's schooling, and I have my reasons.

 1.First of all your kids are too young. 

 2.You must be wealthy if your children are paid to attend school. You're handing up a large sum of money to your child, as if it doesn't matter if it's five bucks or one dollar. Save your money for things like putting food on the table or just feeding your family. 

 3.I feel you should stop giving money to someone like your children. As a child, I will feel terrible that my parents are giving me money just to go to school.If you say that you are giving your money to your kids for lunch that question will be in that next reason 

 4.Another reason, which I believe will be my best reason, is that all New Zealand schools are receiving free lunches.I assume that this will be extremely beneficial not only to your family but to everyone.So I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful Prime Minister, Jacaranda Arden, not just for giving us lunch but for thinking about the entire nation.Feel free to leave a good comment.

My Reflection in Term 2

 Today is Wednesday it is almost the end of term 2 so today i am going to be talking about my reflection for this term.One of my favourite things that happened  this is Fiafia it was so much fun i know i already talked about it on my blog but it was just so much fun there was a lot of beautiful culture but the one i think that stood out the most  the Samoan intermediate group.The reason why is because first of all is there outfits second of all is there dance what i think it was telling a love story like for an example there dance is like i could never do a beautiful dance as them. My  second reflection this term is that my favourite planet of all is Mercury because it looks like the moon and because it only takes 88 days to revolve around the sun. So if it only takes 88 days to revolve around the sun that means my birthday will come very soon every few days  [this is from my DLO] for an example if i was to live on Mercury i would be 100 years old.My last reflection is rugby On Friday the 25th of June the intermediate girls at PT England School went to have a friendly game with Royal Oak School but  it was just a game to get us ready for Auckland Champs.Out on the field as the game as already started me and my teammate looking how to get better and better for Auckland Champs.

Stepping up

 Stepping up

Lesieli: Stepping up is when you step up for yourself from people who are hurting you, bullied or just not making you feel good. Always talk to others and ask them for help if you want you can ask them if they want to be your friend or if you can stay with them.

Stepping up can take a lot of responsibility like if your parents need you to do something or look after your siblings.Taking responsibility is a big thing to do that means your parents trust you with a lot of things.

Step up for yourself because if you are not happy or sad and not looking after yourself you are not living in a good environment. That is why you need to just take a step outside and just be happy  with what you have and who you have next to you.

So what i mean is to step up for yourself or for someone.I hope you enjoyed what i have done and feel free to leave a good comment.

The Game on Friday

 The Game on Friday.

On Friday the 25th of June the intermediate girls at PT England School went to have a friendly game with Royal Oak School but  it was just a game to get us ready for Auckland Champs.Out on the field as the game as already started me and my teammate looking how to get better and better for Auckland Champs.

As we were looking my coach told me to go on for my friend Melemanu so as i called out here name so we could swap i was getting butterflies in my stomach so i was not really focusing on the ball so like every time they would give me the ball it will slip out of my hands then then the year 8 girl on my team will yell at me.

I am really happy that they did that though because they were trying to help me get better and better.When I was scared the girls pulled me to the side and was just talking to me to never be scared because it will just hold you back and you will never achieve your dreams.

On the last round that it went I changed into a different person. I was more focused into the game and i was angry but  in a  good way when I was focused but for some reason it was way much fun.

Stepping up

Decimal Fractions 1

This is my Decimal Fractions 1 this work was kind of not that hard but it was so fun.I did my work with Vika and we finished it off in like 5 minute if you want fell free to leave a good comment.

How was fiafia

  At FiaFia it was so fun and exciting. When I got there I was with my 2 sisters, cousin and myself ! When we walked through the entrance we thought we had to pay because they were holding up buckets and there were 2 of them. Once we got in we walked around looking for my friend. While we were walking around she looked for some food and bought some. My cousin got a marshmallow stick and my sister got a milkshake. My other sister went to her dressing room and got changed. When I couldn't look for my friend I went back to the entrance and waited for him. When he came he told me we should go to our dressing rooms so we did. We were 10 minutes early and had to come back 10 minutes later. When we decided to walk around we got bored so we went back to our dressing room and asked if we could get changed early. We then went to the dressing room to ask. He then said yes might as well and handed our clothes. We went to the bathrooms and got changed. While I was getting changed I put on my jeans and realised someone had stretched it out. I was so mad so I went back and said if the jeans were even mine. He then said "I'm so sure those were the jeans you handed me" so I just made up an excuse and said never mind they were mine. I walked back to the toilets so mad and when I was done getting changed I folded my school clothes and put them on a chair in the staff room. Once me and my friends were done getting changed we wanted to go back out but was told we were not allowed. "Once your in your dressing room you stay there" yeah yeah. So annoying. They were hungry and wanted to buy food but weren't allowed to buy it. But it wasn't fair because other fiafia groups were out of there dressing rooms buying food for themselves. Noai’a! That’s hello in Rotuman Language.My information report today will share with you some important facts about Rotuman.

   Rotuman is located in the southern hemisphere.To the north Rotuman is Tuvalu,the east samoa south is Fiji west Vanuatu The total of the population at Rotuman is less than 2000 people living in Rotuman.Most most people live in Fiji.Now there are 1,594 people living in Rotuman right now.
 The Language spoken on Rotuman are English and Rotuman.Rotuman culture is the western plolynesian culture from tonga,samoa,Funtuna,Uvea and more recently,from Fiji.
 After learning about the Rotuman language it has made me feel like i need to speak more of my language because i would not like my language getting endangered so when i get home i will try to learn more Tongan.
